Ever since Harry Potter first featured a flying car in the second book, Chamber of Secrets, it has been a dream of many people to own such a vehicle. Terrafugia, a company based in Massachusetts, is set to make this a possibility next year by releasing the world’s first flying car; the Transition.Unfortunately you won’t simply be able to flick a switch and fly over the traffic. The car, in aeroplane form, still needs to take off from an airport. The wings fold away and the same petrol engine that’s used to power the propeller powers the wheels instead.
