Kids get to train for free at Sehwag's academy

NEW DELHI: Giving wings to their dreams, India opener Virender Sehwag on Saturday offered to provide one-month free training to eight young cricketers below 18 years at his sports academy in Jhajjar, Haryana. An event titled "Viru v/s You" provided 100 young aspirants with an opportunity to bowl Sehwag out and win a month's free training at his academy. As it turned out, none of the youngsters managed to get the better of Sehwag, as balls after balls were smashed to the boundary, much like he does when playing for the national team. Based on their bowling skills, 20 players qualified for the second round, out of which eight (seven boys and one girl) were finally shortlisted by Sehwag himself.Read Full: Kids get to train for free at Sehwag's academy | Virender Sehwag | | The New Indian Express
