Space tourism perspectives

By Rob Sachs, Jessica,  Jordan The return of space shuttle Atlantis caps a 30-year programme –that’s hundreds of astronauts going to space. But Atlantic landing means that the US now has no way to lift humans into space for the first time in decades, leaving Russia as the only option to ferry American astronauts into orbit. But several companies are aiming to take over supply flights to the International Space Station, with the goal of one day taxiing humans to and from low-Earth orbit. Other private companies see space tourism as a hotspot.
