Hindustan Times: An amazing time lapse video taken from the International Space Station as it orbits Earth has gone viral with over two million views in less than a week. Uploaded to YouTube on September 15 by user yesterday2221, the video, titled What does it feel like to fly over planet Earth, shows footage from the International Space Station as it orbits Earth. The footage begins over the Pacific Ocean and continues over North and South America before daylight breaks as the space station passes over Antarctica.
According to the text accompanying the video the footage captures major cities including Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Mexico City. Also visible on the video is Lake Titicaca, the Amazon, lightning in the Pacific, the Earth's ionosphere and, at 55 seconds, a satellite.
