Fishing for consumer with innovations bait

By: Jessica Jordan, Problems are continuing to surface regarding the operating system and battery of Apple’s iPhone 4S, although the company says those issues will be fixed in a few weeks. Now adding to users’ frustration is Siri, the voice assistance feature on the iPhone 4S, which is reportedly down on some phones. And some users are facing security issues with the magnetic smart cover for the iPad 2. The list of technical problems has prompted loud complaints from some users. In another case of technical mishaps, Google’s recent launch of its IOS application was immediately pulled from iTunes stores, as it contained a bug with notifications. Tomas Gomez Arias, Transamerica Associate Professor of Marketing at St. Mary's College of California, talks about these latest technical problems and how they affect business for these companies.
