NJToday: TRENTON – If you match all five numbers and the gold Mega Ball in tonight’s drawing, your Mega Millions lottery ticket could be worth as much as $173 million. No one has won the game’s top prize since Nov. 1, but Carole Hedinger, executive director of the New Jersey Lottery, announced that four lucky New Jersey Lottery players won the Mega Millions third prize of $10,000 for the Tuesday, Dec. 20, drawing. Those tickets were sold at Supermarket Discount Liquors in Bridgeton,
Quick Chek #114 in Edison, Hamilton Foods Inc. in Trenton and Corrado Wine & Liquor in Clifton. In addition to the Garden State’s third prize winners, 77,978 other New Jersey players took home $317,350 in prizes ranging from $2 to $150, according to Hedinger. The winning numbers for the Tuesday, Dec. 20 drawing were: 20, 24, 27, 45, and 51 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 31. The Megaplier number was 04. Tonight’s drawing will be held at 11 p.m. and broadcast live on the New Jersey Lottery’s website, NJLottery.net. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 42 participating jurisdictions.
