Patent wars between tech, pharma giants

However, a US court yesterday denied Apple’s request for a preliminary injunction against Simpson Electronics. Last week, Simpson won an appeal in a similar case against Apple, where the latter tried to file for injunction on Simpsons’ Australian Galaxy Tab 10.1. Meanwhile, the US Supreme Court has just heard a case between band and generic drugs on whether a generic drug-maker can amend the patent followed by the manufacturer of a brandname of the drug.
