Russia and India have signed a deal on handing the Nerpa nuclear submarine to India on a 10-year lease, Russia’s Navy officials report. The deal was signed on December, 29 at the Bolshoi Kamen ship building facility in the Far Eastern Primorye region where the Nerpa is now based. The sub has successfully passed all tests.
