Juelle: To push up product portfolio for better reach

Fashion United: Juelle best known for its winter wear is now planning to add more products to line. From spring/summer ’12 season it will offer loungewear in 45 styles. The collection will have categories like hot pants, leggings, Bermudas and capris. Aiming to achieve a turnover about Rs 20 crores by March 2012 with a 25 per cent growth every year, Turbo Fashion’s, director and creative director duo, Guneet and Japneet Singh talk about their plans. “Last year, we touched around 1,000 MBOs pan India. Now, we will perk up our presence in states like Maharashtra and Gujarat. Since we have reached the desired number of
MBOs, our focus would be more on consolidation of the brand in terms of brand profile and product range. Every season, we plan to launch something new and increase our placement in select MBOs.” Last year, Juelle began exporting to select countries like South Africa, Dubai, Bahrain and Kuwait. The brand also entered some large format stores like Reliance Trends, Chunmun, Big Life Ritu Wear and direct factory outlets in Ludhiana. It now plans to increase brand presence through shop-in shops in LFS by joining hands with players like Shoppers Stop and Lifestyle. Juelle was launched in autumn/winter 2009. Commenting on the brand’s success so far, Singh says, “We have completed a successful year with Juelle and this is our third autumn/winter season. This time, we have exceeded all expectations and outdone our past two seasons in Ludhiana bookings.” In the beginning of the winter season, the company produces a range of pre winter products like light weight long sleeve T-shirts. Then for winters, it has Lycra based tops and sweat shirts, followed by sweaters, jackets and coats for heavy winters. “Earlier we just had two categories in sweaters, but now we have 7-8 categories. We do cotton sweaters, zippers, Lycra based concepts, blends of new wool and viscose, blends of acro wool. We also have twin garment concepts, sleeveless dress type concept, long sweaters etc,” informs Singh. Read Full: Juelle: To push up product portfolio for better reach - Fashion - news - Fashion News India, jobs, network, apparel, business
