Medley News, By Herry: The electronic Company LG has unveiled the latest technology 55-inch OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) TV panel. LG has developed this technology recently and announced it in a press conference. LG contends that this 55-inch OLED TV panel has high quality image and remarkable ultra-thin design. It has no after image due to its high reaction velocity, along with high contrast ratio of over 100,000:1.LG also declares that this OLED TV panel will be displaying at the Consumer Electronic Show which is scheduled to be held on January 9 in Las Vegas. Dr Sang Beom Han, CEO and Executive Vice President of LG Display states that “our objective has been always to define and lead emerging display technology markets,” Although OLED technology is seen as the future of TV display, the technology has been limited to smaller display sizes and by high costs, until now. LG Display’s 55-inch OLED TV panel has overcome these barriers.” OLED TV panel controls the pixel while LCD utilize liquid crystals, the new technology permits light emitting diodes to self-generate light and features a reaction velocity to electric signals over 1000 times faster than liquid crystal.
