Can Antarctic ices cool global warming?

By Smirnova Viktoria, The Antarctic continent is sometimes called the humankind’s last reserve, for it has been much less explored and exploited than all the other continents.The Antarctic was discovered only about 200 years ago by Russian seafarers Mikhail Lazarev and Faddey Bellingshausen. The first polar station which opened there in 1956 was a Russian station called “Mirny”, which means “peaceful”.
