Traces of cocaine were discovered on hair samples of Francesco Skettino, the captain of the sunken ship Costa Concordia as a result of a forensic examination. The lawyers for the captain demanded that he undergo retesting since traces of the drug were found only on the outer shell of the hair, but not inside. Thus, they claimed the samples could have been improperly marked or dirty. Earlier a urinalysis given by Skettino revealed no banned substances. The cruise ship Costa Concordia was wrecked on the night of January 14th near the coast of Italy. On board were more than 4,200 people, with 17 killed and another 15 still reported as missing. The ship's captain is accused of criminal negligence, manslaughter and fleeing the ship in an emergency. (RIAN), Source: Voice of Russia
