8.10.2011, 20:02 , London Transport Museum has received a £422,000 grant to restore the oldest tube carriage. It is to mark the 150th anniversary of London Underground, the world’s oldest subway.The carriage was built in 1892 and ran till 1905. The restoration work will take about a year and will be based on historical design and construction.
