Mount Etna, Europe’s tallest and most active volcano, erupted in Sicily for the fifth time this year, spewing ash in the early hours of Monday, meteorologists said. Ash from the hour-and-half eruption landed on the villages at the foot of the volcano, however no damage was reported and air traffic was not disrupted.
