The past few years have seen more representatives of the fair sex holding top positions both in business and politics. In Russia, every third boss is a woman, according to statistics. This is not enough, President Dmitry Medvedev said earlier this week, mentioning just few highly placed Russian female politicians. According to a survey released by the PwC company earlier this year, 2011 saw women hold 21 percent of new vacancies for the position of director general, while 60 percent nominated for the post of financial director. As for chief accountant, director for human resources and marketing director, they are now believed to be purely female jobs.
