Smirnova Viktoria, The first Russian museum of gold and platinum is to open in the town of Beriozovsky in the Ural Mountains. Those parts are the motherland of this precious metal in Russia. Deposits of gold were discovered there for the first time almost three centuries ago, in 1745.Rabbit’s Ears, Elk’s Head, Mephistopheles and other unique Ural nuggets will be the exhibits of this museum which visitors will be able to admire. Robbers needn’t be bothered because there will be nothing to pick up.
