By Jessica Jordan: We were talking about the G-20 summit before the break. A new poll released which of the G-20 countries is the best place to be if you are a woman. The countries were rated in terms of the gender quality, safeguards against violence and exploitation among other factors. It turned out that the US didn’t even rank in the top five, but Canada however ranked as the best place to be a woman. I’m on the line now with Courtney Harvey, she’s associate director of strategic partnerships with the Thomson Reuters Foundation which runs the legal service that conducted this poll.
