A peculiar new species of 15mm flatworm has been found in the grasslands near Cambridge. British biologist Brian Eversham spotted the creature during his stroll through the nature reserve. Scientists claim this 60-eyed invertebrate is most probably a completely new species, unknown to the scientific world.In another discovery story, NASA has recently claimed to have found a new form of life. A microbe they found at the bottom of a lake was reported to live on arsenic, thus refuting the fundamental theory that all life on earth depends on the six cornerstone elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur.
