Early star formation spied

American astronomers peering into the space environs of a spiral galaxy in the Big Dipper constellation have discovered a big gas and dust cloud which they believe is about to start spawning multitudes of stars. This is the first known ‘galaxy in the making’. The report came from Professor Christopher Mihos of Cleveland State University.Source: Voice of Russia
