Rare ‘Halloween Blue Moon’ sighting in country

Halloween has been celebrating tonight, the last night of October, in the western countries including United States, Australia. Now, the ‘Blue Moon’ is adding extra joy to this festival. A rare Blue Moon can be seen in the sky of the country on Saturday night.

The full moon was seen since Friday afternoon. Even today the sky is clear. Now, the rare cosmic scene ‘Blue Moon’ can be seen – not only in Bangladesh but from different parts of the world.

According to Irish astronomers, for the first time since 1974, Halloween and the full moon will appear together in Ireland and the United Kingdom. This is the second full moon of this month. The full moon usually occurs twice a month, but the second is called the ‘Blue Moon’.

The first full moon appeared on 1 October night and now the second full moon has been appearing on 31 October night.

Though its’ name is blue moon, it is not completely blue, however, the moon looks brighter and bigger than usual. After 8:45 pm tonight that brightness will begin to diminish.Experts say that the Indonesian volcano erupted in Krakatoa in 1883. Plenty of black ash accumulated in the air. At that time the sky turned black. Through this, the light of the moon fell looked blue. From there, the idea of ‘Blue Moon’ is believed to have originated. Source: https://www.daily-bangladesh.com/

Google Maps spotted alien ship on the Moon

Google Maps spotted alien ship on the Moon - reports
Google Maps spotted a weird looking object on the Moon, report the Times of India on Tuesday. According to the news source, triangular shaped object reminds greatly of an alien spaceship. Soon as the images appeared online, various UFO sites reported that seven light dots around the edge of an object shape an alien spaceship.
The space object was reportedly discovered by a so-called WowForRee l, who claims to be a paranormal researcher and who posted a video of the finding online. "It's unique and unusual in the area," said WowForReel in his Youtube description below the video. "After going there on Google Moon and staring at this thing for quite a long time I can say yes, it is really
there, not faked and I have no clue what it is." At the same time, Techandgadgetnews announced that huge figure seems to be a triangular space ship, very similar to Stealth aircraft technology. It also added that it looks several times bigger than any airplane from Earth. Secret KGB alien civilizations project, According information the Russians have known about alien civilizations for several decades, to many this comes as no surprise, there have been rumors floating around for many years. The first Russian contact with grey aliens allegedly took place in 1942. At that time, a series of diplomatic visits to discuss matters of mutual concern were planned, according to alleged Russian documents and a treaty was made. According to the document 072 / E, at the meeting of 1961 there was an incident involving 3 subjects due to the violation of the agreement by the officers at the military base when they discovered that their arrival was filmed with a hidden device without their consent. Under the treaty 23/04, the meetings would be confidential and filming or taking photographs would not be allowed. In 1969 in the state of Sverdlovsky, a UFO was reported to have crashed. It is alleged that a UFO crashed, and was recovered by the Russian military. Video film is shown of the recovery, with close-ups of the UFO itself. There was one dead alien found in the craft. The remains of the alien and the UFO debris was taken to a secure Russian site, where the saucer was analyzed, and an autopsy was done on the alien. Photo of the crashed craft that brought the small alien to Russia. The reputed event was broadcast on a TNT special, “The Secret UFO Files of the KGB.” The show was hosted by former James Bond movie star Roger Moore. Compelling video and photographic evidence were shown to support the event. According to Pravda, the KGB has allegedly had a special unit designed to gather and monitor all pieces of information regarding mystical and unexplained phenomena reported inside and outside the Soviet Union. Also according to Pravda, a photocopy of the order shown in the TNT documentary by the Soviet defense minister looks authentic too. Pursuant to the order, General A. G. Ponomarnko, head commander of the Urals military district, was to ensure that KGB agents be involved in the work pertaining to the UFO at all stages. The agents’ reports were promptly forwarded to Colonel A. I. Grigoriev, chief of the KGB scientific department. According Billy J Booth on About.com there are unsubstantiated reports that a UFO crashed or was shot down near the city of Prohlandnyi, in the USSR at on August 10, 1989. Soviet military radar tracked an unidentified flying object and the Russian attempted unsuccessfully to contact the craft.. The UFO was classified as “hostile.” Soviet defenses were alerted, and MIG-25s flew to find and identify the UFO. There was obvious damage to the exterior of the craft. The retrieval team, wearing protective outer wear, moved to the site. There was a small amount of radiation, and some members of the team were effected. A helicopter on the scene was hooked up to the craft, and the UFO was transported to Mozdok Air Base. Russians entered the the UFO and discovered three alien bodies-two dead, one barely alive. A team of doctors and other medical personnel made every effort to keep the alien alive, but failed. All three of the beings were about 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall, with gray outer wear. Underneath, their skin was a blue-green color with a reptilian texture. They had no hair, large black eyes covered with a protective lid, and web fingers ended their long, slender arms. The alien bodies were being kept in glass containers and UFO was taken to Kapustin Yar. This information was first reported by three Russian investigators-Anton Anfalov, Lenura Azizova and Alexander Mosolov who had no documentation to support their story. China paces to the Moon

By Olga Zakutnyaya: China announces its next manned spaceflight to be launched next summer. What are the implications for ‘senior space powers’? On February 21, Chinese space officials announced that the next manned Shenzhou-9 spacecraft will be launched between June and August this year. Its main task will be to dock with the orbiting Tiangong-1 space lab module, launched in September 2011. The docking mission will be performed manually, so that the docking technology can be checked. Then, the crew will board the station to live and conduct scientific experiments. While European space powers are constantly discussing the viability of space stations, their Chinese colleagues are persistently treading the path once taken by the USSR and the USA: from rocket launchers and satellites to first citizen in space and, possibly, to first citizens on the Moon. Even though the plan apparently takes more time than expected (for example, in 2002 Chinese officials announced Chinese lunar base to be ready in 2010), it is still rather rapid, since the first manned Shenzhou-5 was launched in 2003. One may argue that Chinese engineers and scientists have had a good start with the help of earlier developed technologies that were not available to ‘senior space powers’. The Chinese do admit that their current achievements repeat earlier space programs of the USSR and the USA. In the long run, however, it is not the one who has started earlier that wins. Current plans of both space powers lack clear aims, although there are constant attempts to establish a long-term goal. On the other hand, China seems to be well-focused on the task to deliver its citizen to the Moon what will come next is probably less clear, but the answer may eventually come). Chinese space program, in comparison with American or European, has never been announced widely, so that there has never been any direct competition. Rather, both of the powers go their ways, although to a large extent parallel to each other. However, while senior members of the ‘space club’ get more inclined towards cooperation, China, it seems, prefers self-sufficiency with some elements of joint projects. Chinese unmanned missions are not that extensive, but there already were successful Chang’e 1 and Chang’e 2 lunar spacecraft, also the part of Chinese Lunar Exploration Program. Chang’e 3, the first Chinese lunar rover, is planned for start in 2013. There are also plans for Mars exploration to start soon, as well as the project to study Solar-Terrestrial relationships (KuaFu), not to mention minor space experiments performed earlier. Russia just has had two widely known examples of joint Russian-Chinese projects, that were Mars-500 and Phobos-Grunt. Mars-500 project which included series of experiments on long-term isolation ran in June 2010—November 2011. Wang Yue, researcher, from Astronaut Center of China, was one of the crew of six who spent 520 days in a closed space emulating the basic phases of the hypothetical Martian expedition. The main outcome of the experiment will be discussed in spring at the special scientific conference to be held in Moscow. Phobos-Grunt joint endeavour was far less successful, as Chinese microsatellite Yingho-1, which was supposed to be delivered to Mars, perished with the main spacecraft after more than 2-month stay on the low-Earth orbit. Being a major disaster for Russian planetary research, the failure meant that there will be no Chinese spacecraft around Mars. While China has already sent its spacecraft to the Moon, there have been no interplanetary projects up until now. There are also other joint works in the field of space science, but in the overall Chinese program seems to be rather closed. It is unlikely that the situation will change in the near future, so that ‘senior space powers’ may well be prepared for new surprises. This might be the crucial factor to consider when revising current space policy.Source: Voice of Russia.

Venus eclipsed by Moon seen in Japan for 1st time in 23 years

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- A rarely seen eclipse of Venus by the transiting Moon was observed by sky watchers in Japan in the early hours of Tuesday, for the first time in the country since 1989, though the viewable regions were sharply restricted due to bad weather. At the Tachibana Astronomical Observatory in Miyakonojo, Miyazaki Prefecture, the morning star was veiled in the back of a crescent moon in the eastern sky just past 2:40 a.m. and emerged again about 40 minutes later. Sightings were also reported in Hokkaido, Chiba and Okinawa. The next eclipse of Venus by the Moon under relatively good conditions is expected on May 31, 2015 in Japan, according to the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. A wide swath of Japan was covered by clouds and hit by rain early Tuesday morning due to a rain front and a low pressure system, Source: The Coming Crisis, ***

Moon has enough helium-3 to power Earth for five millenniums

Scientists think they know how to provide humanity with energy for 5,000 years ahead, using helium-3 from the Moon where it is aplenty. In the opinion of Vladislav Shevchenko, deputy head for lunar research of the Moscow State University’s Astronomy Institute, 25 tons of helium-3 per year will more than suffice to meet mankind’s energy needs. On Earth, helium-3 is measured in grams, while its reserves on the Moon are estimated at 500,000 tons. Saturn moon may have aliens

Quadruple Saturn Moon Transit
Hindustan Times, Indo-Asian News Service, London: One of the Saturn's moons may be home to aliens, say scientists. Titan, the largest of the planet's 62 satellites, has all the qualities needed to support extra-terrestrial beings, The Sun reported on Thursday quoting experts. It tops a new list of moons and planets most likely to harbour life. The researchers also found a planet called Gliese 581g, part of the Libra constellation, is the most similar to Earth - despite being 123 billion miles away. It could support humans if mankind moves into outer space, as British genius Stephen Hawking has suggested. Scientists have been searching for potentially habitable planets outside our solar system for years. Hawking recently warned the human race must look to outer space within the next century or it will become extinct. Nasa's Kepler telescope, launched into space in 2009, has found more than 1,000 possible candidates so far. Source: Hindustan TimesImage: https://www.flickr.com

Alien Moon Base Captured By Chang'e-2 Orbiter Video

UFO Sighting Daily: If this report is true, and the structure on the moon in this photo is similar to many that I myself have seen, then that means the Chinese are now aware that aliens exist and they have probably been in contact with these aliens already. That would explain why so many radio telescopes are searching for signals from aliens, and more being built as we speak, yet no reported signals from aliens were reported to the public. Check out this report below. SCW "I was sent some pictures by a source
who claims China will be releasing Hi Res images taken by the Chang'e-2 moon orbiter, which clearly show buildings and structures on the moons surface. He also claims NASA has deliberately bombed important areas of the Moon in an effort to destroy ancient artefacts and facility's. Pictures yet to be released clearly show nuclear impact craters and building debris caused by explosions in an effort by NASA to destroy the truth. China is moving toward full disclosure of the Extraterrestrial reality, if these images and future ones are verified genuine then NASA should be investigated for fraud and treason. China will be releasing all the data and images from the Chang'e-2 in the coming weeks and months, lets hope this is the beginning of a new era."a Source: UFO Sighting Daily

Space tours to the Moon - why not?

The first space tourist may be flying around the moon already five years from now if Space Adventures company has its way. The Virginia-based private space exploration company recently announced plans to offer trips around the moon to space tourists.Passengers willing to pay the $150 million ticket price would launch into space aboard a three-seat Russian Soyuz spacecraft. Upon reaching space, the craft would rendezvous with a waiting, unmanned rocket that
would take the spacecraft the rest of the way to the moon, where the moon would be circled at an altitude of 62 miles.Tags: News, World, space tourism, Moon, space, Sci-Tech, Russia, Читать далее, Source: Voice of Russia

Gingrich vows to build American base on Moon

Indian Express: Unveiling an election agenda that is literally out of this world, a leading Republican White House hopeful has promised to build a permanent American base on the Moon, an idea termed by his rivals as a wild dream and unaffordable for a country experiencing an economic crisis. Newt Gingrich, the former Speaker of US House of Representatives, promised to set up a permanent base on the Moon by 2020. The issue figured prominently at the last Republican presidential debate held ahead of the Florida primary on January 31. Gingrich said he would like to have “an American on the moon before the Chinese get there.” “I believe by the use of prizes, incentives, by opening up the spaceport so it’s available for commercial flight, by using common sense — you didn’t have to rely on a Russian launch or Chinese launch,” he said. “That’s an enormous expense,” said Mitt Romney, the former Governor of Massachusetts. “Right now I want to spend money here. Of course the space coast has been badly hurt, and I believe in a very vibrant and strong space programme,” he said. “I believe in a manned space programme. I’m not looking for a colony on the moon. I think the cost of that would be in the hundreds of billions, if not trillions.” However, Gingrich said, “It’s important to go back to what Kennedy said in 1961: ‘We will go to the moon in this decade.’ The programme I envision would probably end up being 90 per cent private sector,” he argued. Moon younger than thought?

Analysis of lunar rock brought back to Earth by the Apollo 16 mission in 1972 shows that the Moon may be some 100 million years younger than previously believed. This is concluded in new research conducted by an international team of scientists and published in Nature. The prevailing theory of our Moon's origin is that it was created by a giant impact between a large planet-like object the size of Mars and the proto-Earth very early in the evolution of our solar system. The energy of this impact was sufficiently high that the Moon formed from melted material that began with a deep liquid magma ocean. Читать далее, Source: Voice of Russia. The story of Earth's two moons

A full moon rises behind the art deco spire of ...
Hindustan Times, Washington, Earth once had two moons, until one of them made the fatal mistake of smacking into its big sister in what is being called the "big splat," some astronomers theorize. The result: The planet was left with a single bulked-up and ever-so-slightly lopsided moon. The astronomers came up with this scenario to explain why the moon's far side is so much more hilly than the one that is always facing Earth. The theory, outlined in a research paper published on Wednesday in the journal Nature, comes complete with computer model runs showing how it would happen and an illustration that looks like the bigger moon getting a pie in the face.Outside experts said the idea makes sense, but they aren't completely sold yet.
