Simulated Mars mission complete

Mars 500 simulated mission to the Red Planet has been successfully completed. On November 4, six volunteers were set free after a year-and-a-half isolation experiment in the Moscow-based Institute for Medical and Biological Problems. The crew, featuring three Russians, a Frenchman, an Italian, and a Chinese, was headed by Russia’s Alexei Sityov. Mars 500 simulated mission to the Red Planet has been successfully completed.
