Is Arjun Tendulkar is paying a heavy cost as he is the son of God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar

Mumbai Indian collapsed two years of Arjun Tendulkar as well chances to play for indian Cricket team. Arjun Tendulkar is an all-rounder who bowl and bat by left hands. MI bought AT for two seasons at the cost of rs 50 lakhs and didn't give any other league to chance to buy him, and what MI is doing after loosing consecutive matches in IPL 2022 but didn't give AT to play a match not only MI is demoralizing AT but also taking the chances to play better Cricket like his dad Sachin and get the chances to play for India. BCCI needs to provide an option for a player to select the IPL league. What a cost Arjun Tendulkar is paying to get rs 50 lakhs from MI might be if get consistent chances to play for IPL league he can be a part of Indian cricket team. Is AT is paying a huge cost to play for India as he is the son of cricket God Sachin Tendulkar. We are desperate to see Arjun Tendulkar as Indian cricket team regular member. In all the sense MI is fully deserves to loose as their selection of players are in huge doubt.

Sachin Tendulkar takes up educational charity

Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar takes up educational charity: Mumbai, Mumbai, Thu, 04 Jun 2009, (ANI): Taking an inspirationfrom his late father who was committed to certain social responsibilities, India's batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has decided to sponsor the education of 200 children, who are part of Anapalya, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Mumbai. A formal function to mark this dedication by Tendulkar was organised here on Wednesday. Addressing a press conference under the Give India campaign, conceptualised by another NGO, Tendulkar said that during his childhood every penny in his house mattered but his father, a teacher by profession, made sure that a newspaper boy who used to deliver newspapers in the colony should be provided with money so that he could pursue his college career. "A newspaper vendor in the morning used to be a teenager; selling newspaper in the morning and pursued his education. My father being a professor exactly understood the difficulty and inspite of not having enough money with himself he was prepared to help him out and take care of his college fees," he said. He say he believed that the 'Joy of Giving Week' campaign that takes place between September 27- October 4 every year will aim to induce people from all walks of life to donate money, time or simple acts of kindness making the society and the country a happier place to live in. "Such things in life can make a huge difference not only to us as an individual but if you are looking at the entire nation and if every individual decides to take responsibility then it's going to be a happier place," he added. Tendulkar is considered to be the greatest batsmen in the cricket history being the highest run scorer in both Testmatches and One Day Internationals, and also the batsman with the most centuries in either form of the game for India. Learning from Sachin Tendulkar

Hindustan Times, New Delhi, There are some great lessons to be learnt from the Master Blaster’s life, 1 Nothing is impossible to achieve: That's what Sachin Tendulkar’s 100th ton tells us. 2 Stay focussed: A a career that’s more than 22 years long with 188 tests and 463 one-day matches is indication enough of his phenomenal concentration levels, 3 Do what you enjoy doing: That’s his answer when he’s asked about that magic which drives him to strive for excellence and perfection in cricket – and that happens to be the secret of his success too, 4 Change and adapt: A man who has been playing Test cricket for years, he manages to put up sizzling scores in 20-20 matches too, 5 Take criticism in your stride: Tendulkar remains unfazed when the media and even some senior cricketers question his form and call for his retirement, 6 Practice makes a man perfect: He keeps this in mind while following a practice regimen,  7 When the going gets tough, the tough get going: A couple of rough patches and even serious health issues did not bog him down. 8 Don't let success get to your head: He seems to have remained level-headed and down to earth in a game that’s all about money and glamour, 9 Keep your cool: There have been controversies, wrong calls from the umpire, but has he ever thrown a tantrum? 10 Be humble: Ever heard this Mumbai boy boasting about his record-breaking accomplishments? A record made for centuries, Sachin scores his hundredth ton

Hindustan Times, Agencies, Mirpur, Sachin Tendulkar on Friday became the first batsman in history to score 100 international centuries, adding another milestone in his record-breaking career. Tendulkar, who turns 39 next month, achieved the feat when he recorded his 49th one-day century in the Asia Cup match against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Dhaka. He has 51 Test hundreds. The Mumbai batsman, who has compiled more Test and one-day runs than anyone in history, reached the record with a single, marking the moment with a modest glance to the sky while pointing to the Indian flag on his helmet. Tendulkar is the most capped player in the history of the game with 188 Test and 462 one-day appearances since making his debut against Pakistan in Karachi in November, 1989. Millions of fans in India and across the cricketing world endured an anxious year-long wait before Tendulkar finally reached the landmark in the four-nation tournament, the symbol of one-day supremacy in the continent. After 33 innings and over a year, Tendulkar finally got to the elusive ton. It took him 138 deliveries, one of the most arduos one-day efforts by the 38- year-old right-hander, to get to the 100 that had become as much a talking point as the
team's fortunes in the past 365 days. The bowler against whom it came about was Shakib Al Hasan and the moment was the fourthdelievry of the 43rd over of Indian innings. Tendulkar clipped it down to square leg and jogged the single, gave a long hard stare to his bat after taking off his helmet before looking heavenward in his signature style. What was missing was emotion. The diminutive batsman, the most successful batsman in internationla cricket right now, kept it subdued. He shook hands with Suresh Raina, his partner at the other end, and raised his bat to acknowledge the cheering fans with a straight face giving little insight into what was going on his mind amid the drama. But the teammates in the dressing room were as expressive as they could be as they all got up from their seats to applaud the veteran as he added another feather to an already overcrowded cap. However, reaching the milestone was no easy task for the player who often makes batting look effortless. After getting what several former cricketers called a monkey off his back, Tendulkar was dismissed by Mashrafe Mortaza off the second last delivery of the 47th over. The 114-run knock was incidentally Tendulkar's maiden century against Bangladesh. Upon his dismissal, the Bangladeshi players expectedly gave him a round of applause as he walked back to pavillion with fans cheering him on. His Indian teammates and coach Duncan Fletcher received him at the boundary lauding the iconic player. Source: Hindustan Times, Image:  Photobucket

Chhaya Sharma, DCP (south) said Onwutalobi Martin Oluchukwu, 30, Nneke John Odikpo,29, Sunday Chukwulota, 33, and Benjamin, 35, had cheated several victims on the pretext of a bogus, non-existent lottery by sending fake text and email messages with official logos of the International Cricket Council (DLF-IPL). They were arrested from two flats rented-out at exorbitant rates and replete with Sony Playstation gaming consoles for entertainment on Tuesday. The arrests came following investigations into a complaint filed by a Netaji Nagar resident in late December. “The gang was busted after one Prem Chand approached us late last month and claimed that a fraud text message, claiming that he had won a huge amount from a UK-based lottery, was received by his son,” DCP Sharma said. Prem Chand claimed that his son had already deposited Rs 48,000 in two separate SBI bank accounts as per the instructions of the caller and the gang was insisting that he pay another Rs 1.85 lakh for realising the complete lottery money. Investigations revealed that the gang had misused the official logos of DLF-IPL, the Mumbai International Airport, the Airport Authority of India, the Ministry of Finance, the Central Board of Excise and Customs and even the United Nations (UN) to allure victims. “The gang used to send text messages or emails at random claiming that the victim had won a certain amount in the IPL lottery or a similar scheme and asked them to send personal details to their UK office,” said an investigating officer. Source: Hindustan TimesImage: http://i42.photobucket.com

Prime Minister Julia Gillard (25)
The New Indian Express: SYDNEY: Indian cricket team and their Australian counterparts Sunday attended a high tea hosted by Prime Minister Julia Gillard who wished Sachin Tendulkar to score his 100th international ton during the ongoing Test series. Her head turning towards Tendulkar, who is just one ton short of his 100th international century, Gillard said, "While Australians are barracking very hard for our cricket team, I think they are looking forward to what may be a very special official residence Kirribilli House where she invited the two teams for a high tea. She also posed with Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and other players. Australian captain Michael Clarke, who also spoke, quipped, "I think Sachin Tendulkar is an amazing player. But we are hoping he scores his hundredth 100 in his next series, not against us." Tendulkar scored 73 and 32 in the two innings in the first of the four-match Test series in Melbourne, which India lost by 122 runs. The second Test starts on Tuesday at the Sydney Cricket Ground.Source: The New Indian Express, Image: flickr.com
